Meet Cristopher.
This little warrior was one of the brave patients treated during our March 2018 Mission in partnership with Global Spine Outreach in Monterrey, Mexico at CHRISTUS MUGUERZA Hospital Alta Especialidad
Due to the severe curvature of Cristopher’s spine, one of his lungs was compressed, which caused pressure on his heart and put him at risk for future heart problems. Because Cristopher was able to receive the surgical treatment he needed, his lungs will now grow normally and will not exert any pressure on his heart, therefore avoiding future heart complications and extending his life expectancy.
